XM 50 RU

Citroën anti-sink sphere, produced by IFHS, Belgium. Used on the rear circuit of models with anti-sink circuits. It holds a pressure reserve for the rear brake circuit and keeps the rear anti-sink valve from reopening after switch-off. It has a lower gas charge than the main accumulator (about 50 bar vs 62 bar per one forum source), so do not swap them. A worn sphere lets the rear sink and reduces rear brake reserve.
