Hydraulic sphere for the Peugeot 405 4×4 (Mi16x4), produced by IFHS, Belgium. It is part of the hydropneumatic self-levelling rear suspension, which runs on green LHM mineral fluid. The nitrogen cushion keeps the rear at the correct ride height and load capacity. A worn sphere gives a low rear, a hard ride and a pump that runs more often. Delivered with a new sealing ring. Only LHM may be used, as other fluids destroy the seals.
